Key West is Where it’s At!
Well, I’m all done with school for right now, and I am ready to head out on my own. I want to do something good with my time, and I am looking to help out with some of the problems that Key West is currently facing.
So with the help of an amazing Realtor, I am buying a house in Key West and am going to help with some of the relief effort needed down there. I and my friends are going to hang out and enjoy some of the sea life and get a taste of what it’s like to start living instead of hanging out in school the whole time.
In the mean time, I’ve finished my degree in oceanography, and my friend who specialized in osmosis during their biochem research are going to see if we can maybe make a difference in this crazy world.
I’m going to miss it at home, of course, I’m going to miss my mom and dad, but I’m focused on building a future for my kids and their grandkids, someone has to do it, and it seems that I am the only one who can.
In the meantime, I’m also going to party. Some of the great things about Key West is the absurd amount of bars and clubs located nearby. I’m excited to walk the Hemingway mile and learn more about this amazing city. Apparently, Tennesee Williams also lived in this area during that time, and I’d like to see some of the museums,s that he might have lived in or roads he’s walked on.
I’m excited about the future, it’s hard to stay optimistic after a storm has ravaged part of your world, but there is still a lot of rebuilding to go through.
Since the travel ban, it has been harder for me to travel abroad and help places like Puerto Rico. Since I am Persian and have Persian parents, it’s hard for me to find the approval ratings necessary to have an easy work/travel visa instated. So I will make do where I can.
Anyway, I have to get back. Leave a comment or send me an e-mail and let me know what’s going on with you guys, I’ll be here all week.
